Do you have to have a dog licence in the USA? They stopped it in the UK in the ’70s but we have a dangerous dogs act!

Dog poo is a big problem here. I know you clear up regularly, but it’s a public health issue here.
I was in a Liverpool suburb recently, and the local council even have words engraved on the sidewalks telling dog owners to clear up.
Montes family from Ireland used to show at Crufts and there would be tons of everything not allowed in American dog shows on the streets.
