My Spanish friend said hand washing makes clothes last forever. Trouble is it’s time consuming, doesn’t do job properly if they’re very dirty. I think perhaps your bikinis shouldn’t be machine washed as it’ll scold the life from them. Perhaps you gave them a cool gentle short wash! Reply

my suits really get dirty so always wash cold delicate and dried on line not in a machine.
