San Diego- I drove there- 2 hours from L.A. I recall it a beautiful drive with distant mountains to my left & panoramic vistas. Reminded me of el campo in Spain.
San Diego itself had a nice open air Mall and the Marina reminded me a bit of Nice or Monaco. All a nice experience until a young boy threw a brick at my car when I drove through a neighbourhood which reminded me of Belfast & how America can be a dangerous place.
in traffic takes forever to get there.
