These disasters always occur at busy times of year. Hope there’s minimal damage to the roof. The insurance may pay for it unless its an act of terrorism or God!
I had a burst water main in my front garden a couple years back. My builder advised I shouldn’t go through the insurance or I’d end up paying for it rhe rest of my life! I took his advice.
