The little I know about photography tells me the longer you focus on the subject, the better the results. It’s a bit like aiming a weapon, the difference being with a gun you aim and pull the trigger. By contrast, with a camera, you aim at your subject and stay as the camera apprehends the distance of the subject getting as sharp and well pixilated as can be for the distance.
