Never mind what they think! Your character probably confused them. Triumph in adversity- an anti hero who fucks with the rules is far more interesting.
Anti Hero probably doesn’t exist in their vocabulary neither does subculture. They want a pre packaged bland entity. You’re far too unique for them, Joyce.
