Yes, I wonder why?
Part of this is that Google changed the metrics for websites. Nolonger hits but how much time spent. Yahoo and Bing expected to join with them and then only sites with heavy written material or short form video will survive.

When you say survive you mean others without dialogue will become extinct?
Pictures without comments are now not being used in search. Also what Google wants is short form video that people will watch all the way through so it can make more off of ad sales.

3 main websites all doing same policy. All about generating revenue. It’s sad when it all becomes about making money!
