Maybe he could do a book. There’s a good market for nostalgia. Wish my large collection of my Grandad’s war photos weren’t lost. He was captured by the Germans in WW2. Would have been fine photographic & written work.
Oh well- mustn’t go on too long on what might have been?
he has written but you would be surprised how many families of those he knew threaten to sue if you write anything about them so he doesn’t

I thing America’s compensation culture is as bad as the UK’s!All about making more money.
I mean have they considered he may publish positive stuff about them? If it’s true & happened, why not? Some people though do have an exaggerated opinion of their own importance!
