Directors have their own styles- British director Ridley Scott likes filming from more than 1 angle, obviously using a 2nd camera, whereas Clint Eastwood films quickly, again distinctive to his movie style.
From 2 angles is interesting as you get more from a shoot. Saw Alice Cooper once and there were about 6 cameras working on arms simutaneously. You could see the show from 6 angles on the video!
