the mobile sites drew many away from the main site
I can’t understand why. To me, one site compliments the other, making me always eager to chop & change between them. Part of the fun is also entering the archives to see other comments, views & opinions or stuff I may have missed.
The mobile site was originally meant to be a add on to show the same material that was not mobi anymore.The people that go to the mobi site took about 50% of the main sites visitors away from it and they have never returned to the main site. Both sites combined are only doing about as well as the main site was doing a year ago. Mobi is where the future is unfortunately not the bigger better pictures on the main site.
