Am no lawyer but think u may have grounds for some compensation. Write brief letter to responible travel ombudsman n send covering copy to travel company that let u down. It cost u work and it’s their fault.
we do but the airlines could careless.

Complain n make a bit of noise with every organisation u can. They cannot be allowed to get away with their incompetence.
