I’m not surprised the beach is empty when the very Hippie Liberal State Of California has made Bikinis virtually contraband!
At least you still have a little spot of sand to keep our Bikini Flag flying!

I think the Selfie idea has potential- a statement from the 21st Century & of the immediate special time & moment!
It’s also what I like about different locations & beach works in that the actress/model not only gets a chance to interact with a new environment & it’s unexpected events but it also temporaily alters the mood/mindset of the subject & model due to being a more stimulating environment. A studio is more one dimensional with 4 enclosed walls.
