I see they’ve banned bikinis at this year’s Miss World in favour of Sarongs for fear of upsetting Muslims! Nothing new there, then!
When it was held in Nigeria about 5 years back there were riots on the streets & the competition was moved either to the UK or China? Can’t remember which?
All this, yet in the 80s they were considering allowing entrants the freedom to wear ‘what they pleased’ including full nudity! Of course, holding it in countries like Indonesia don’t help the girls’ liberties!
Miss World can be very hypocritical & a few entrants including fabulous 80’s German model Gabriella Brun have lost the title following doing nude shoots! Bunch of killjoys!
said on the news they want their audience not the non Moslem’s audience now.
