If you consider developing a masculine character, ( & I hope you will) you could twist the rules a litlle- ie: with a Chaplin it wouldn’t be a funny walk but more a funny bottom (s*xy & funny) Max Wall comes to mind?
Ironically , your slightly mascucline work (bow tie & pos suspender shoot) made you more feminine which is why it’s so fascinating.
The early rawness in the Grandma character evolved into a believable person who we now know & love.
I’d call these ‘Hot Pants’- seem to be coming back in fashion esp on hot Summer dys.
